At the time, two RMG workers shot and several others injured during protests in the Kachukhet area of Mirpur in the capital on Thursday.

The injured workers have been identified as Al Amin, 17, and Jhuma Akter, 15, both are employees of San Tex Fashion Garments in the area.

In response, police and army personnel took action to disperse them, said Kafrul Police Station officer-in-charge Kazi Golam Mostafa.
