The Dutch-Bangla Chamber of Commerce and Industries, in collaboration with Greentech Venture, hosted a seminar on Inclusive Business recently in the city, featuring prominent figures from academia and government. The event was attended by Prof. Dr. Farid A. Sobhani, President of the Association of Private University Teachers, and A.K.M. Abul Kalam Azad, Director General of the Bangladesh Public-Private Partnership Authority.
Anwar Sawkat Afsar, President of the Dutch-Bangla Chamber of Commerce and Industries, chaired the seminar, which included a keynote presentation by Md. Jamal Uddin, Managing Director of Greentech Venture. A diverse panel of experts contributed to the discussions, including public health specialist Dr. Razuana Rahman, private sector expert Engr. Khen Maung, media personality Naznin Akhter Banu, investment consultant Mohammad Mesbahuddin Ahmed, and energy specialist Md. Arifur Rahman Talukder.
During his address, Professor Dr. Sobhani emphasized the role of Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) in addressing human needs and creating job opportunities. He pointed to successful projects like the Dhaka Expressway as models of effective collaboration between the public and private sectors.
At the seminar’s conclusion, the chief guest presented awards to the panelists in recognition of their contributions. The organizers expressed their appreciation to all attendees for their participation.
