Dhaka Capitals have signed former Pakistani spinner Saeed Ajmal as their mentor for the upcoming Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). Ajmal is no stranger to the BPL, having played previously for Dhaka Gladiators in 2011-12 and for Chittagong Vikings in 2015-16.
This season, he returns in a new role as a mentor for Dhaka Capitals. Ajmal boasts an illustrious career, having won the 2009 T20 World Cup and the 2012 Asia Cup with Pakistan. He played 35 Tests, 113 ODIs, and 64 T20Is for Pakistan, taking a total of 447 wickets across three formats.
