K M Sohag Rana has been working for a long time as the chief assistant director of talented drama director Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Raz. Rana himself sometimes directs dramas. Even before this, Rana has produced several dramas which have been popular with the audience.
Once again, Sohag Rana
produced a drama titled ‘Magic Moment’ in his own composition. The shooting of the drama has already been completed.
Dr Ezazul Islam, Mahmudul Islam Mithu, Monira Mithu, Tawsif Mahbub, Keya Payel, Tanzim Anik, A B Rokon and many others acted in different roles in the drama.
Director K M Sohag Rana said, “A drama with a different story is ‘Magic Moment’. Honourable Fazlur Rahman Babu Bhai and others who acted in this drama, especially the senior artistes, they are all talented artistes. As a director, I am still not enough to talk about them. It is a big achievement for me that they acted under my direction. All the rest including Tawsif Bhai, Keya Payel have acted wonderfully in their respective roles. I believe that the drama ‘Magic Moment’ will fascinate the audience. And I have my sincere gratitude to my mentor Raz Bhai. Maybe no one else would have given me the opportunity he gave me. I am forever grateful to him. It must be said that if he did not give me the opportunity, I would not have been able to enjoy this creation.”
Actor Dr Ezazul Islam told this correspondent, “After working on the path of acting for a long time, I can at least understand what work the audience will see and what work they won’t. ‘Magic Moment’ is such a story drama, I believe the audience will watch this drama with great interest
and will be very impressed. I also have to say that this drama will have many views. I am
really optimistic about the ‘Magic Moment’ drama.”
Actor Mahmudul Islam Mithu said, “Right now I’m in Cox’s Bazar. I have come here for a little tour. So, I said one thing because when I plan to come here, I get
an offer to work on a good story. Just like a story drama ‘Magic Moment’. Very good story drama that’s why I am
optimistic about the drama.”
