Man to die for killing wife

A Court of Kishoreganj sentenced a man to death on Wednesday for killing his wife at Joshodal Dampara in Kishoreganj Sadar in 2015.

The death penalty awardee is Nurul Islam ( 50),son of Kachum Ali.

Additional District & Session Judge, Court-4, Md. Hamidul Islam pronounced the verdict Wednesday noon. Additional Public Prosecutor (APP) Jibon Kumar Roy confirmed this verdict.

According to Case Diary (CD) , On the evening of March 7, 2015, the police recovered the mutilated body of an unidentified woman from a pond near the Dampatuli paddy field of Kishoreganj Sadar. The next day, the police filed a murder case against the unknown accused at Kishoreganj Model Police Station.
