One to die , 2 life terms for killing woman

A courtof Kishoreganj has sentenced one accused to death and two to life imprisonment for beating a woman to death over a land dispute in Hossainpur upazila of Kishoreganj on Sunday.

The Additional District & Session Judge court-1, Jannatul Ferdous Ibn Haque gave this verdict. Besides, the court acquitted the other 12 accused in the case.

The accused who have been sentenced to death are Hasimuddin , son of Mamud Ali at Harenja village of Hossainpur Upazila . Mubarak Hossain and Mosharraf Hossain of the same village were given life imprisonment.
