Khilafat Majlis , General Secretary Moulona Mohammad Mamunul Haque said that Bangladesh liberation war is not the sole property of any party, the leadership of freedom is not the sole leadership of any person. The father of the nation cannot be a controversial figure.
He said these in a public meeting organised by Khilafat Majlis Bhairab upazila unit at Hajee Asmat College playground in the town on Thursday evening.
Moulona Mamunul Haque said that those accused including Sheikh Hasina, who are accused of killing thousands of students during the mass uprising, should be severely punished.
Arrest warrant has been issued against Hasina. Arrangements should be made to quickly bring her to the country and stand trial.
July -August movement cannot be thwarted, the defeated forces are still involved in conspiracy, and the countrymen must remain careful. If the blood of thousands of students, including Abu Saeed Mochad, goes in vain, the people of the country will fall under the grip of fascism again.
