Energis Ventures Ltd, the legal owner of 6.40 acres of land in Labonchora, Khulna, has urgently demanded the immediate mutation of its rightful property.

The company has appealed to the AC (Assistant Commissioner) Land office for swift intervention to address a land-grabbing incident involving the railways authority.

According to Energis Ventures, the company holds undisputed ownership of the land as per the State Acquisition (SA) khatiyan. However, the railways authority has unlawfully seized 6.10 acres of this land without providing any compensation.

The company’s owner stated, “My father, Barrister Mainul Hosein (a former law, justice, and parliamentary affairs adviser to a caretaker government), faced unfair treatment under the previous regime of Awami League (AL), which included the deliberate stalling of the mutation process for six acres of my company’s land in Labonchora.”

Furthermore, all taxes related to the land have been paid in full,” he added.

Sources within Energis Ventures Ltd revealed that the company has requested urgent assistance from the Deputy Commissioner’s office in Khulna to resolve the issue and expedite the mutation process.

All relevant documents have been submitted to the DC office for immediate action.
