“A new journey towards building a discrimination-free new Bangladesh has started through the fall of the autocratic fascist government by the student-people mass uprising on August 5,” the statement declared.

The Home Ministry assured that individuals who were on the ground working to ensure the success of the uprising would not face any legal consequences or harassment for their actions during the protests.

Authorities have been instructed to remain vigilant to ensure that no participant of the movement is unjustly targeted.

Additionally, the ministry urged authorities to stay alert against those who may be spreading false information to exploit the situation, ensuring that the focus remains on building a transparent and just society.
