A seminar on “Importance of Mental Health Awareness and Economic Development” organised by Rotary Club of Jalalabad was held at hall room of Jalalabad Rotary Hospital, New Road, Sylhet city on Friday.
Speakers at the seminar said that economy and mental health are inextricably linked. Permanent peace of mind and holistic development are not possible without economic progress, which is equally important for individuals and societies. Economic development is essential to ensure mental peace and good health. This development plays a huge role not only in personal life but also in society as a whole. Communication system with community, country and abroad is important for economic development. In this case religious rules also bring peace of mind. So people of all religions should follow the religious ideals.
Simultaneously the weekly meeting of Rotary Club of Jalalabad was held. Club President Rotarian Ershad Ali presided over and Secretary Rotarian. Rotarian Professor Dr. Abul Mansoor Ahmad conducted the seminar.
