Sheikh Arif Bulbon :
Durga Puja has already started. Other times during this time, actress Puja Cherry Roy spent times happily in the Puja mandaps but this time she will be busy in front of the camera.
This actress lost her mother in May this year.
Durga Puja has come, but mother is not there, so she is upset. She has no extra preparation for Durga Puja.
The shooting of Puja’s first web series titled ‘Black Money’ started in Saidpur from last Monday. Raihan Rafi is directing the series.
Puja Cherry made her debut as a heroine on the big screen with this director’s movie titled ‘Poramon-2’.
Puja last worked in the movie ‘Dohon’ in 2018. After six years with the ‘Black Money’ series, she returned to work under Raihan Rafi’s direction.
The actress said that she will be busy shooting the whole time of Durga Puja.
However, she has no regrets about this. Because Puja said that she did not have any plan for Durga Puja because she did not have her mother.
While talking in this regard, Puja Cherry told this correspondent, “This time I had no desire to prepare for Durga Puja. Not a single thread was bought for myself on the occasion of this festival. This is the first time I will worship without my mother. It’s been almost six months since mom is not with me. If there was no work, there would be no shopping, no laughing, and no going around.
Last year mother took my hand and went around to different puja mandaps. I remember that memory again and again. That’s why it seems that the God has created an opportunity for me to be busy with work at this time.”
Puja is hopeful about the ‘Black Money’ series.
She believes that the audience will see her in a new way in this series.
Puja said, “A new Puja will be seen in the ‘Black Money’ series, which I have never seen myself. I was surprised after hearing the character brief. I think the audience will be surprised after watching the series.”
Meanwhile, the popular action hero of Bengali cinema, Rubel, is making his debut in the web world with the ‘Black Money’ series.
Salahuddin Lovlu, Sumon Anwar, Mukit Zakaria and others have also acted in the series. The six-episode series will be released on the platform, ‘Bongo’.
