Arham to join BD U-17 Football squad on Oct 10

The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Under-17 Qualifiers will be held at Cambodia from October 19. Marking the upcoming football competition, Bangladesh Under-17 Football squad are taking part at Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan (BKSP) Ground.

Australian expatriate Arham Islam of Bangladesh will join the practice of Bangladesh Under-17 Football squad on October 10.

Western United Football Club are top level team in Australian domestic highest football competition. Arham Islam is a player of the Western United Club Under-18 Football Academy.

Arham used to play as a right back position in that academy. Arham’s father is interested that his son will play for Bangladesh. So, he contacted with Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF). After that, BFF’s Technical Department collected the video footage and important information from him.

Technical Director of BFF Saiful Bari Titu is the Coach of Bangladesh Under-17 Football team. He will take the trial of Arham. If Arham can show satisfactory performance in the trial, Arham will be included in the Bangladesh Under-17 Football squad to play for AFC Under-17 Qualifiers in Cambodia.

Arham was born in Bangladesh and he had Bangladeshi passport. So, he will get his new passport. Arham’s family will bear his expenditure to return to Bangladesh.

It may be mentioned that Jamal Bhuyan, who is the Captain of Bangladesh National Football team is an expatriate of Denmark. Besides, Tariq Kazi, who is an expatriate of Finland, is a dependable defender of Bangladesh National Football team.
