Chief Election Commissioner of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF)’s election Mesbah Uddin announced on Monday the election schedule of upcoming election of BFF.
The other members of election commission of BFF are Advocate AKM Ehsanur Rahman and Suraiya Akter Jahan, who were with him at that time . Mesbah Uddin announced the election schedule of BFF at the conference room of BFF House yesterday.
Mesbah Uddin said, ” The interested candidates for the election can collect their nomination forms from October 9, October 10 and October 12. The interested candidates can accumulate their forms from 10:00am to 5:00pm every day.
The price of nomination form for the post of President is Taka one lakh, Senior-Vice President is Taka 75 thousand, Vice-President is Taka 50 thousand and for the Executive Member is Taka 25 thousand.
The candidates for the poll of BFF will submit their nomination forms on October 14 and October 15. The selection of the nomination forms will be held on October 16.
The candidates can withdraw their forms from the morning of October 19 to 2:00pm of October 20. If anybody wants to give the announcement of cancel the others nomination form, he or she must submit the objection letter on October 17. In that case, he or she must submit Taka 50 thousand.
The final candidature of BFF poll will be announced on October 20.
The election of BFF will be held at the Hotel InterContinental on October 26. The election will start at 2:00pm and will come to an end on 6:00pm.”
It is noteworthy that the posts of the Executive Committee of BFF are 21 including President (1), Senior Vice-President (1), Vice-Presidents (4) and Members (15). A total of 133 councillors will cast their votes for the BFF polls.
