BGB to provide security for celebration of Durga festival in border areas

43 BGB battalion commander Lt. Col. Syed Imam Hossain, PSC, said that Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) wouldprovide necessary security to celebrate Durga festival seamlessly in the 8 km area of the border. BGB will stand by the people of Hindu religion so that they can celebrate this big festival with joy and enthusiasm. But everyone has to be alert so that no one can do any wrongdoing in a conspiratorial way to destroy the communal harmony.
The BGB Commander said this at the security coordination meeting held at 43 BGB Battalion Headquarters in Ramgarh on Thursday. Among others, 43 BGB Deputy Commander Major Noor, Assistant Director Raju Ahmed, Officer-in-Charge (OC) Ramgarh Thana Mohammad Moin Uddin, Upazila BNP President Hafez Ahmed Bhuiyan Municipal BNP President Md Jasim Uddin, General Secretary Md Ala Uddin, former freedom fighter Commander Md. Mofizur Rahman, General Secretary of Ramgarh Central Kalibari Management Committee Shubashish Das and others were present.
