Guitarist Mahaan Fahim leaves ‘Aurthohin’ band, Bassbaba Sumon cries

Entertainment Report :

Guitarist Mahaan Fahim ended his eight-year journey with the band ‘Aurthohin’. After the ‘Legends of the Decade’ concert last Saturday, he announced his departure from ‘Aurthohin’ band citing physical
illness.
Mahaan Fahim wrote on Facebook, “My eight-year journey with ‘Aurthohin’ ended yesterday. Last April I slipped a disc in my cervical spine, which I found after MRI. After holding it, I started feeling severe pain in my left hand. The doctor told me to rest – playing the guitar while standing or carrying something heavy is prohibited. So, I had to make this unpleasant decision.”
Mahaan also wrote that he will miss the ‘Aurthohin’ members, “I will miss the stage performance with Sumon Bhai, Mark, Jahin a lot. I am wishing success to ‘Aurthohin’. People who have helped with the show and various times while on ‘Aurthohain’, like our manager Tito Bhai, and big thanks to the sound engineer Mithu Bhai, the instrument carry of our ‘Aurthohin’, and everyone who was ready to look after.”
He said that he can play the guitar sitting even if he cannot stand.
So, Mahaan Fahim will continue work in the studio.
In this regard Mahaan wrote, “I can sit down and play the guitar so I will work in the studio. I will release a new instrument. So, there is no reason to leave music.”
Bassbaba Sumon, the team leader of ‘Aurthohin’ band, is overwhelmed with emotion at the departure of Mahaan Fahim from the band.
Sumon wrote on Facebook, “Goodbye Mahaan Fahim. I couldn’t hold back my tears on stage today (Saturday) for you. Make me cry. Get well soon.”
