Day by day, Sharna Lata Debnath is becoming the favourite face of TV dramas in Bangladesh. Especially the ‘Nigar’ character in the serial ‘Bokulpur-Season 2’ directed by Kaiser Ahmed, which ended on Deepto TV recently, became so popular that Sharna Lata also came into discussion by playing the role.
This actress was getting great success for playing the role of ‘Nigar’ in the country and abroad. In the meantime, Sharna Lata started acting in another serial of the same director while being in talks through this series. The title of this series is ‘Golmal’.
The dramatist of this series Ahmed Shahabuddin was the dramatist of the previous serial.
However, in this ‘Golmal’ serial, Sharna Lata is acting as ‘Dilruba’.
The 400th episode of the serial was aired yesterday.
According to Sharna Lata, she is acting from the 370th episode due to the story of this series. Already, she has managed to catch the attention of the audience by acting in the role of ‘Dilruba’. In this series, she got the opportunity to work with experienced artistes.
Notable among them is Mukit Zakaria, Rawnak Hasan, Mukul Siraj, Azizul Hakim, Mir Sabbir, Arfan Ahmed and many others.
Sharna Lata said that acting with senior artistes improves her own performance. Meanwhile, Sharna Lata has started working on a new thriller titled ‘Broken Family’ directed by Nasir Uddin Masud.
However, the promotion of the series has not started yet.
Promotion of another new serial titled ‘Common Problem’ starring Sharna Lata has started. This series started broadcasting on Banglavision last month.
Regarding talking about her new serials ‘Golmal’, ‘Broken Family’ and ‘Common Problem’, actress Sharna Lata told this correspondent, “Congratulations to Kaiser Ahmed Bhai for giving me an opportunity to act in a wonderful role in ‘Golmal’ serial. I got an unprecedented response by playing the role of ‘Nigar’ in the serial ‘Bokulpur Season-2’ directed by him. I started working in ‘Golmal’ serial not too long ago, but I started to get well after working as ‘Dilruba’ in this serial.
In the meantime, the serial was aired with popularity in the four hundredth episode. It’s a challenge for a director I would say. Of course, Kaiser Bhai had produced this kind of series of hundreds of episodes before. And ‘Common Problem’ series just started broadcasting; I hope the audience feels good. I am very optimistic about Masud Bhai’s ‘Broken Family’ serial.”
Meanwhile, Sharna Lata participated as a guest in Banglavision’s cooking related a programme, produced by Subrata Dey, to promote Durga Puja.
