Plant Pathology Division of Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI) arranged a workshop on “Advancement of plant pathological research, future challenges and way forward” held at the BARI Seminar Room on Tuesday, reports press release.
BARI’s Director (Research) Dr. Munshi Rashid Ahmad presided over the session while Director (Support & Services) Dr. Ashraf Uddin Ahmed was present as chief guest. Director (Planning & Evaluation) Dr. Md. Abu Hena Sorwar Jahan; Director (Training and communication) Dr. Md. Ataur Rahman; Director (Horticulture Research Centre) Dr. F.M. Abdur Rouf and Director (Tuber Crops Research Center) Dr. Md. Matiar Rahman were present as special guests. Senior scientists of various divisions were present there also. Chief Scientific Officer (Plant Pathology Division) of BARI Dr. Md. Harunor Rashid presented the keynote paper in this workshop.
