The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) selectors announced on Sunday a 15-member Bangladesh T20I squad for the three-match Twenty20 International (T20I) series against India.
Spin all-rounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz makes his return to the squad after last featuring in the T20I format 14 months ago.
Additionally, left-handed top-order batter Parvez Hossain Emon has been included in the squad, along with young left-arm spinner Rakibul Hasan.
However, Shakib Al Hasan axed from the T20I side as he announced retirement from the shorter format of the game recently, while Soumya Sarkar has been dropped from the squad. Bangladesh will take on India in the first T20I at Gwalior in India on October 6, the Tigers will face India in the second T20I at Delhi on October 9, Bangladesh will meet India in the third T20I at Hyderabad on October 12.
