The 24th Annual General Meeting of Union Insurance Co. Ltd. held on Sunday through virtually.
Vice Chairman of the company Mohammed Hasmot Ali presides over the AGM. In the AGM shareholders approved 10 per cent cash dividend and express their satisfaction with the overall business performance of the company. After AGM the 145th board of directors meeting was held and Al-haj Mohammed Hasmot Ali unanimously elected as chairman of the company and Md. Belayet Hossain elected as Vice Chairman. Beside of these Al-haj Md. Azizur Rahman as chairman of the executive committee, Jahangir Alam as chairman of the claims committee, Mohammad Faiz as chairman of the audit committee and MUA Quader as chairman of the NRC committee re-elected. Nuruddin Ahmed as chairman of the finance committee elected.
