The growers of winter vegetables under Rangpur agriculture region are expecting a good yield of their cultivated vegetables this year. With the hope to earn good profit farmers of different districts under the region cultivated different varieties of winter vegetable with much enthusiasm and vigour this season. They are optimistic about getting a satisfactory production.
Visiting different areas of the region it was found the farmers busy taking care of their vegetable fields. Many were busy spaying medicines to protect their vegetable fields from pest attack. The farmers are growing cauliflower, cabbage, bean, eggplant, gourd, cucumber, tomato, carrot, radish etc.
Nurunnabi, a vegetable cultivator of Alampur village under Taraganjupazila of Rangpur said he has cultivated bean on 1 bigha of land this season and is hopeful about getting a good production and good profit.
