Sabrina Nowshin Tushi, hailed from Narayanganj, is competing in ‘Channel i Shera Kontho 2023’. Since taking part in the competition, the judges have repeatedly said that Tushi’s voice is perfect for playback or movie songs.
In one episode of the competition, Tushi sang the song titled ‘O Bondhu Re, Prano Bondhu Re’ sung by Runa Laila.
After listening to the song, Alamgir, noted film actor and also the guest of the show expressed his fascination and told Tushi about the possibilities of the song in the movie.
Noted singer and composer Runa Laila, special judge of ‘Shera Kontho’, asked chief judges Rezwana Chowdhury Bonnya and Samina Chowdhury that Tushi should prepare herself for the film’s song. Tushi’s efforts have increased because of the inspiration of so many noted people. Not yet the grand finale of the competition.
Before that Tushi got a call to sing movie song. Finally, Tushi sang for the first time in the movie ‘Moynar Char’ produced by Sumon Parvez and directed by Mostafizur Rahman Babu.
Tushi lent her voice for the playback song titled ‘Tor Name e Dolil Dilam Moner Moinar Char, Sukh Swapone Bhadhbo Bhalobashar Ghor’.
Shahabuddin Majumder wrote the song, while he has also arranged its tune and music. Ayon Chaklader is co-singer of Tushi in the song.
For the first time in life, Tushi is emotional and exalted for rendering playback song. Expressing her feelings, she recalled the judges of ‘Shera Kontho’.
While talking in this regard, Tushi told this correspondent, “Infinite gratitude to Almighty Allah, finally my dream came true. I still remember that day, the day I sang respected Runa Laila Madam’s song ‘O Bondhure’ in front of her. This song was earlier rendered by this legendary singer. After listening to the song, she said to me, ‘Tushi, you make me happy’. Your voice quality is so good that if you practice properly you will get a chance to sing in the film. Alamgir Sir, Bonnya Madam and Samina Madam expressed optimism after Runa Madam’s words. I have been able to fulfill the expectations of those around me – this is my great joy and love. Thanks to the ‘Shera Kontho’ platform. I give thanks to Shahabuddin Uncle for giving me the opportunity to sing in the movie.”
