Small screen actress Neelanjona Neela made her debut on the big screen in 2017 with Badrul Anam Soud’s movie ‘Gohin Baluchar’.
After that, she was not seen to act in any movie for more than six years.
Seven years after the first movie, Neela returned to the cinema this year with the same director’s movie titled ‘Shyama Kabya’. Neelanjona Neela was praised for playing the role of ‘Shyama’ in this movie.
Now Neela is coming to the big screen as ‘Rukhsar’.
This time Neelanjona Neela is playing the title role in Mustafizur Rahman Manik’s movie ‘Rukhsar’.
Like the first two movies, this movie starring Neela is also being made with government grants.
Director Mustafizur Rahman Manik received a grant of Tk 60 lakh for the movie ‘Rukhsar’ in the financial year 2022-2023.
Asad Zaman wrote the story and dialogues of this government grant movie. Already 60 per cent shooting of this movie has been completed.
Director Manik wants to release this movie in theatres next year.
Abir Chowdhury is opposite Neela in the movie ‘Rukhsar’.
Abir made his debut as a hero on the big screen in the movie ‘Baap Boro Na Shwashur Boro’ directed by Shahadat Hossain Liton in 2010.
In 2012, his starring movie ‘Tumi Asbey Bole’ was released.
After that he was away from movies for a long time.
After 10 years, Abir returned to the silver screen with the movie ‘Raagi’ in 2022.
Director Mustafizur Rahman Manik told this correspondent about the movie ‘Rukhsar’, “The movie ‘Rukhsar’ is being made based on the story of the liberation war. It will be seen in the love story of a girl named Rukhsar. Portraying the images of the liberation war on screen is really challenging. I have tried to portray the time appropriately. Neelanjona Neela playing the title role has adapted her character very well. Other actors also tried to give their best. I have already completed about 60 per cent shooting of the movie in different locations of Manikganj. I have a plan to release the movie in theatres next year after completing the shooting this year.”
Director Manik also said that he is planning to shoot the last part next November.
Rashed Mamun Apu, Munna Khan, Priyonti, Maruf Aqib and others are also acting in this government grant movie.
