Moushumi stages comeback with Munni

Bangladesh’s favourite actress Moushumi has been in the United States for a long time. There she is participating in various programmes organised by expatriate Bangladeshis. But this time she participated in an event organised by
expatriate Bangladeshis where Moushumi made a comeback.
Recently, ‘Summer & Festival’ was organised by expatriate Bangladeshis in Buffalo Alexander Avenue, USA. This arrangement basically started in the evening.
Moushumi went on stage at 10:00pm after various formalities. Moushumi came on stage to sing the song titled ‘O amar Bondhugo Chirosathi Pothcholar’ from the 1993’s Sohanur Rahman Sohan directed Moushumi-Salman Shah-starrer movie ‘Kayamat Theke Kayamat’.
Moushumi has not been seen on the stage of the programme singing the songs of the movie she acted like this in any event before this. That’s why all the audience welcomed Moushumi’s return to the stage.
Moushumi then sang the popular song titled ‘Ekhane Du’jone Nirjone’ from the movie ‘Antore Antore’ directed by Shibli Sadik. Then Moushumi again sang the song titled ‘Ekhonto Somoy Bhalobasar’ of her first movie.
At that time, another Bangladeshi singer Dinat Jahan Munni was called by Moushumi on stage.
Then there was more excitement among the audience.
After Moushumi’s performance, Munni started singing on stage.
She started the performance with her original song titled ‘O Priyo Ami Tomar Hote Chai’. One by one Munni performed several of her original songs and regional songs of Chattogram and Sylhet.
Munni performed one song after another and the guests also came on stage and participated in the performance.
Moushumi also came on stage at one point when Munni started singing the song ‘Khairun Lo Tor Lomba Mathar Kesh’.
Moushumi’s performance in Munni’s song was also enjoyed by the audience with great interest. The audience enjoyed Moushumi and Munni’s performance till 12 o’clock.
Regarding talking about her performance in the event, Moushumi told this correspondent over social media from USA, “My sincere gratitude to the organisers for organising such a wonderful event and for inviting me there. This is the first time I have participated, performed and sung in this different kind of event in the United States. I like the subject really differently. I was very impressed by the enthusiasm I saw in everyone listening to my voice. I like it more because Munni was with me. I hope to see you all again in a colorful and beautiful event.”
Singer Dinat Jahan Munni shared her feelings by this way, “Such wonderful arrangements are rarely held on the stage of the United States. Especially on the same stage, Bangladesh’s favourite heroine Moushumi and I – all in all, it was such a wonderful arrangement that we really enjoyed performing. At the very end of the programme, everyone was very emotional during the performance of Bangladesh’s National Anthem.”
