Demand for formation of education reform commission in Bhola

In Borhanuddin of Bhola, a human chain was held to demand the nationalisation of secondary level private educational institutions, the formation of the Education Reform Commission and the suspension of the appointment of school teachers to various posts in the education administration until nationalisation. The programme was celebrated under the banner of Upazila Secondary Education Family at Borhanuddin Upazila Parishad premises on Tuesday.
Upazila secondary education officer (in charge) Rezaul Karim, Academic Supervisor Ayesha Siddika, Convener of Upazila Secondary Teachers Association Bashir Ahmed, former president of the association Md. Sohel, the principal of Mazamer hat Fazil Madrasa Fayzul Alam, Superintendent of Jaya Balika Dakhil Madrasa Abdul Goni, Headmaster Of Pakshia secondary school ATM Lokman Hossain,senior teacher of Manika secondary school Hafizullah and others spoke at the human bond.
With the spontaneous participation of secondary school and madrasa teachers of the upazila, the human chain turned into a crowded gathering.
At the end of the meeting, the leaders of the Secondary Teachers’ Association, the Upazila Executive Officer Raihan-Uzzaman’s office submitted a memorandum containing the demands through him to the Education Advisor.
