Bangladeshi worker dies in Brunei

A Bangladeshi laborer named Mohammad Alauddin (38) died in an accident in Brunei. He was injured in an accident during construction work in Mangis area of Brunei last Friday (September 20) afternoon. Later he was taken to the local Rifaz Hospital where he died while undergoing treatment.
The deceased Alauddin is the son of Abdul Matin of Allali Kaihali Tek village of Gafargaon upazila of Mymensingh district.He was the father of three children.
According to the family of the deceased, Mohammad Alauddin went to Brunei about 10 years ago. He lived and worked in Mangis area there.
On Friday afternoon, while doing construction work, Alauddin was seriously injured after falling from the top.
Later local people rescued and admitted to Rifaz Hospital. He died while undergoing treatment on Friday evening.
Zahirul Islam, nephew of the deceased, said, “We are waiting for uncle’s body.” Our demand to the government is that uncle’s body should be handed over to us as soon as possible.
