Politics banned at BSMUSTP

The Syndicate meeting, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman University of Science and Technology Pirojpur (BSMUSTP), decided to ban politics and drugs in the campus.
Vice-Chancellor of the University Kazi Saifuddin said, “In the fourth syndicate meeting, a decision was taken to ban all forms of politics in the university campus. Through this, all kinds of political activities were banned in the university campus apart from student politics, teacher and officer-employee politics”.
So BSMUSTPadministration has decided to stop all kinds of politicalactivities of political parties,students, teachers and officials.
Apart from this, all kinds of drugs including smoking have been prohibited in the university campus.
The fourth meeting of BSMUSTP Syndicate, the highest policy-making forum of the university, was held on Thursday afternoon and continued till night.
At the end of the Syndicate meeting, the Vice-Chancellor of the University Kazi Saifuddin confirming this information said, a decision has been taken to ban all kinds of political activities were banned in the university campus including from student politics, teacher and officer-employee politics.
He also said, ‘Apart from politics, smoking has been banned in university campus. Apart from this, the syndicate members have agreed to ban the carrying, storage and use of all types of drugs.
The Vice-Chancellor requested everyone’s cooperation to implement these decisions of the university administration. Besides, in the fourth meeting of the Syndicate, the curriculum of four new departments of the university has been approved, said the Vice-Chancellor. Earlier, at the beginning of the Syndicate meeting, the students who were martyred in July and August of this year were mourned and respected and sought forgiveness of their souls.
