Train has resumed its operation at the night said Mohammad Abdur Rouf, Managing Director of the Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL).

Abdur Rouf told journalists at 5:15pm, “The pillar number 430 has a head with four bearing pads that act like springs to maintain flexibility. One of these pads was displaced by two or three inches.”

“To avoid any risk, we suspended metro operations from Agargaon to Motijheel this [Wednesday] morning. The section has now been fully prepared for service,” he said.
