Bangladesh Bank has appointed Executive Director Husne Ara Shikha as its new spokesperson, according to an office order issued on Thursday.
Shikha, who began her career at the central bank as an assistant director in 1996, replaces Md Mezbaul Haque in this role.
Additionally, the bank named Mohammad Shahriar Siddiqui, Director of the Banking Regulation and Policy Department, and Saeda Khanam, Director of the Communications and Publications Department, as assistant spokespersons.
