Editor of fortnightly Krirajagat Mahmud Hossain Khan Dulal won ‘Legend of AIPS Asia Award’ on Friday. Mahmud Hossain Khan Dulal, who is also known as Dulal Mahmud received the award yesterday in Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal.
Six journalists among Dulal Mahmud won the awards for their contributions in sports journalism in their life. The other journalists are from Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, UAE, India and Nepal. AIPS is the regognised organisation of world sports journalists.
Vice-President of AIPS handed over the award to Dulal Mahmud.
It was for the second time the ‘Legend of AIPS Asia Award’, the most prestigious award for the sports journalists was given.
