Entertainment Report :

Arifin Shuvoo, who played the role of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in the movie ‘Mujib: The Making of a Nation’, got the
allocation of RAJUK’s plot in the reserved quota.
It has been decided to cancel the plot of RAJUK, which was allocated for Shuvoo.
However, popular presenter and producer Dr Abdun Noor Tushar considers it unreasonable to cancel the actor’s plot.
Tushar said that Indian director Shyam Benegal finalised Shuvoo in the movie ‘Mujib’, which had no party influence.
Abdun Noor Tushar wrote on Facebook yesterday, “It is unreasonable to dismiss the allocation of Shuvoo’s plot. His acting and modelling career spans 24 years. He was never in politics. He did not in the group ‘Alo Ashbei’. He did not beat the drum in the election campaign. He has received the ‘Prothom Alo’ awards several times. There was no influence of Awami League. He was cast by Shama Zaidi and Shyam Benegal directly. He did not get an invitation to cast in Ganabhaban. He was not on this list. It is being wronged with Arifin Shuvoo. He was not sticking to any Culture League statement. More than 20 years ago, the boy did many of his early works with me. He is a polite boy, a good boy.”
Tushar also wrote, “My dear Tisha and Sabila Nur. Nusraat Faria also. They were in roles of Renu, Rehana and Hasina. Now they will also receive a variety of punishment? Sabila was completely inconsistent! Rehana was never as beautiful as Sabila Nur. Performing is the work of an artiste. It is not right to punish her for that. Will the Call Ready mike’s business close? Will the Cineplex close? So the movie showed? Punish Shyam Benegal. He made such a bad movie.”
