Sony-Smart showroom has officially opened its doors in Mohammadpur, Dhaka. Situated on the ground floor at 25/4, Block-C, Tajmahal Road (near Mohammadpur Women’s College), this flagship showroom is set to become the prime destination for genuine electronics products and services from Sony, the globally acclaimed Japanese brand. In Bangladesh, Sony’s official distributor is Smart Technologies (BD) Limited, operating under the brand name Sony-Smart, says a press release.
The inauguration ceremony, held on Thursday, 5 September 2024, featured a ribbon-cutting and cake-cutting event led by Mohammad Zahirul Islam, Managing Director of Smart Technologies (BD) Limited. Notable attendees included Ricky Lucas, Head of Sony International Bangladesh; Sarwar Jahan Chowdhury, General Manager and Head of Sales at Sony-Smart; Manab Kanti Dey, Factory General Manager; and Azad Rahman, Deputy General Manager and Head of Marketing, among others.
To celebrate the opening, Sony-Smart has launched an exclusive offer. The first 50 customers at the Mohammadpur showroom will be able to purchase a Sony 43″ TV, usually priced at Tk 79,900, for an astounding Tk 52,900, and a Sony 55″ TV, typically Tk 126,900, for just Tk 82,900. Furthermore, the “Amra Korbo Joy” campaign, running for the next seven days, offers significant discounts on Sony Bravia XR’s latest ‘L’ series Google TVs, Sharp refrigerators, freezers, smart LED TVs, and air conditioners.
