PM condoles Saiful’s death
Namaz-e-Janaza of journalist Saiful Islam Talukdar was held at the Jatiya Press Club premises before Zohr prayers on Sunday.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Sunday expressed deep shock at the death of eminent journalist and joint secretary general of Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists (BFUJ) Saiful Islam Talukder.
In a condolence message, the Prime Minister said the country has lost a devoted and progressive journalist leader at the death of Saiful Islam Talukder, also a special correspondent of daily Amader Somoy.
The Prime Minister prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and expressed sympathy for the bereaved family members.
Saiful Islam breathed his last at 11 pm on Saturday night, said a BFUJ leader.
