Chittagong Medical University VC resigns

Chittagong Medical University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Ismail Khan has resigned. On the other hand, the much-controversial deputy director Dr. Bidyut Barua has not returned to office since the Awami League government was falled.. He is the brother of former prime minister Sheikh Hasina’s special assistant and Awami League office secretary Biplab Barua.On Monday (September 2), he submitted his resignation letter to the senior secretary of the Department of Health, Education and Family Welfare. Vice-Chancellor Ismail Khan is said to have cited physical illness as the reason for his resignation.
