The 39th Annual General Meeting of Bangladesh General Insurance Co. PLC. (BGIC) virtually held on Wednesday. Chairman of the company Towhid Samd chaired the meeting. A large number of shareholders including Ahmed Saifuddin Chowdhury, Managing Director & CEO of the company were present on the meeting.
BGIC, the first General Insurance Company in the private sector of Bangladesh approved 10 per cent cash dividend on enhanced paid up capital of approximately Tk. 54.03 crore for the year 2023.
Vice-Chairman Salim Bhuiyan, Public Director Md. Shakil Rizvi, Nominated Director Mohammad Manjur Mahmud, Independent Director Nasir Uddin Chowdhury and senior officials of the company were present.
