Dhaka University (DU) has appointed Saifuddin Ahmed, Associate Professor of the Department of Peace and Conflict Studies, as the new Proctor of the university.
The announcement was made by the Dhaka University Registrar’s Office on Wednesday via an official letter. The letter stated, “The Vice-Chancellor has appointed you as the Proctor of DU from the date of your joining the post until further notice under the prevailing conditions. You will be entitled to allowances and benefits as per the relevant rules.”
Professor Saifuddin Ahmed will assume his new responsibilities immediately upon joining, in line with the university’s regulations.
