The executive committee of Baralekha Press Club has been reconstituted. In the general meeting held at the temporary office on Saturday afternoon, the press club president Asit Ranjan Das announced the dissolution of the expired committee. Later, daily Dinkal correspondent Anwarul Islam was made as president, daily Jugantar correspondent Abdur Rab as general secretary, daily Sangram correspondent Kazi Ramiz Uddin, president.
The Executive Committee of Press Club Baralekha has been formed for a period of two years by nominating Sultan Ahmad Khalil, the organizational secretary and representative of Daily JayJaidin as the treasurer.
Former President Asit Ranjan Das and General Secretary Advocate Gopal Dutt have been made members number one and two of the Executive Committee. Others of the executive committee are-Vice President Iqbal Hossain Swapan, Khalilur Rahman, Joint Secretary Hasan Shamim, Jalal Ahmad, Publicity and Publication Secretary Tapan Kumar Das, Office Secretary AJ Lablu, Sports and Cultural Secretary Adib Majid. Executive members are Liton Sharif, Mizanur Rahman, Azad Bahar Jamali, Mustafa Uddin, Moinul Islam.
