A clean-up campaign has been conducted at Rangpur Medical College on the initiative of students participating in the anti-discrimination student movement.
Rangpur City Corporation Administrator and Divisional Commissioner Md. Zakir Hossain inaugurated the cleaning program at Rangpur Medical College on Saturday morning (August 24). At that time, the Divisional Commissioner said, I applaud the students for the excellent initiative of cleanliness in Rangpur Medical College. A few days ago students sacrificed a lot to bring change in the country.
Regarding the contemporary activities of the students, the Divisional Commissioner said that the students were not limited to the field of agitation, they focused on beautiful things like cleanliness. Students are now leading the nation. They have taken initiative to clean up various irregularities, corruption, garbage in the country. Urging the students not to deviate from positive thinking, he said, you should move forward with your desire for the development of the country.
The Divisional Commissioner stressed on the implementation of cleanliness programs in other institutions and assured full cooperation from the Rangpur City Corporation and the Divisional Administration in this regard.
After the Divisional Commissioner’s speech, the students divided into five groups and conducted a cleanliness drive at Rangpur Medical College. The students who participated in the cleanliness campaign said that they will continue this activity.
