Sabrina Nowshin Tushi, hailed from Narayanganj, was known as in various areas of the country including Narayanganj as an audience favourite artiste before coming to music reality show ‘Shera Kontho 2023’.
In ‘Shera Kontha 2023’ judges verdict and audience vote that she came to the grand finale.
But since the grand finale has not been held so far, Tushi refrained from performing in any stage show.
In the meantime, Tushi has started performing in stage shows. She performed in two different stage shows in Cumilla and Narayanganj a few days ago.
Tushi informed that she also has some stage shows ahead.
While talking in this regard, Tushi told this correspondent, “To be honest, an artiste’s favourite place is the stage show because there is a direct response from the audience. As an artiste, I am still learning. I am constantly persevering in music. ‘Shera Kontho’ Project Head and Project Director Ijaz Khan Swapan Sir said that the grand finale will be held soon. But the show can be done before that. That’s why I’m doing stage shows. I feel very good about it. However, this time is somewhat different than the previous time because now many people know me as Tushi of ‘Shera Kontho’. ‘Shera Kontho’ is a big platform for the new generation’s artistes of this country. I am also one of this platforms, I like to think about it. More than that, we are lucky that we got Runa Laila Madam, Bonnya Madam and Samina Madam as judges of this show. As an artiste, I will be able to use the blessings and instructions about music from them in the future, this is a big thing.”
Tushi went from the semi-final to the final after singing the song sung in the movie by the famous artiste of the subcontinent, Runa Laila.
Actor and producer Alamgir came as a guest judge during ‘Shera Kontho’.
Tushi sang in front of Alamgir. After listening to her voice, Alamgir said that Tushi’s voice is a perfect for the playback of the movie.
Tushi rendered an original song, which was composed by Sheikh Jasim.
However, Tushi said that it has not been revealed yet.
Meanwhile, in voice of Tushi, a song titled ‘E Sokal Shiter Sokal’ was released on BTV’s YouTube channel. Md Enam Ul Islam wrote lyrics of the song, while Kazi Delwar Hossain composed its music.
