Chattagram Port Authority (CPA) is giving dry food to distribute to 5000 families in the flood affected areas. A port boat is kept ready round the clock to take part in relief assistance and rescue operations. The control room has been opened. Thursday (August 22) Secretary of Chattagram Port Authority Omar Farooq confirmed this, he said that Chattagram Port Authority is giving dry food to 5000 families as part of social responsibility. These relief materials are being handed over to the Bangladesh Navy. He requested those concerned to contact Port Authority Control Room (VAF Channel ‘Chennel-16/12’, No. 880-23-33326916, 01759-054277) in case of flood situation.
