The interim government has expressed its appreciation for the widespread public support extended to the victims of the recent catastrophic floods in southern Bangladesh.
In a media release issued on Friday, Chief Adviser’s Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam announced that individuals wishing to contribute to relief efforts can do so through the ‘Chief Adviser’s Relief and Welfare Fund.’ Donations can be made to account number 0107333004093, held at the Sonali Bank Corporate Branch, Chief Advisor’s Office.
The government emphasized that all funds received will be directed towards relief and welfare activities for those affected by the floods. Proper records of all contributions will be maintained to ensure transparency and accountability.
The interim government expressed gratitude for the generous public response and encouraged continued support to aid in the recovery and rehabilitation of flood-affected communities.
