Phoenix Insurance Company Ltd. approves 12 per cent cash dividend for the year 2023 for its shareholders. The declaration came out through its 38th Annual General Meeting (AGM) held virtually on Monday while chairman of the company Mohammed Shoeb presided over the meeting, said a press release.
In the AGM shareholders of the company expressed their deep satisfaction over the performance and steady growth of the company in the face of extremely adverse situation.
During the year 2023 the company earned a total premium of Tk. 72.22 crore and pre-tax profit of Tk 8.19 crore. Total asset of the company in the year 2023 was Tk. 226.33 crore. The company also declared 12% Cash Dividend to the shareholders for the year 2023.
Vice Chairman Manzoorul Haque, Directors Mazharul Haque, Mohammed Haider Ali, Dr. Sharmin Sultana, Fabiana Aziz, Javed Hosein, Iftakharul Islam, Sponsor Aziz-Al-Mahmood, Managing Director & CEO (C.C) Md. Rafiqur Rahman were also took part in the meeting.
