Chattagram City Corporation (CCC) has started a 3 day special clean program. On Sunday (August 18) morning, this activity was started by cleaning the big drain and the surrounding branch drains at the promoter intersection of Chawkbazar ward of the city.
City Corporation Chief Clean Officer Commander Latiful Haque Kazmi said that crash program will be conducted in two drains every day. City Corporation Chief Executive Officer Sheikh Muhammad Touhidul Islam and five officials are monitoring this activity.The special team is divided into 2 and 50 cleaners from two adjacent wards are joining. Drain cleaning activities of Shulakbahar and Chawkbazar wards have started on Sunday. Workers of East Sholashar Ward and Bagmaniram Ward Sevak along with Chawkbazar Ward joined the crash program of Shulakbahar Ward. The crash program starts at 11 am and ends at 3 pm.
Cleaners from other wards join this special crash program after completing their ward activities. The engineering department is providing mechanical support in the activities.
As a part of this program, a cleaning operation will be conducted on Monday in front of the container in front of Katalganj Area Buddhist Temple in Ward No. 16 and in front of Shulakbahar Ward No. 8 Biplab Udyan towards Gate No. 2.
