The New Nation has been praised for its authentic and objective reporting during the recent student movement. A team of volunteers from the Gen Z-led Mastul Foundation expressed their gratitude during a visit to the New Nation office on Saturday.
The Mastul Foundation team commended the New Nation for its unwavering support and truthful reporting, which they credited as playing a vital role in bringing attention to the struggles and successes of the anti-discrimination movement.
During the visit, the volunteers presented a letter of thanks and a bouquet of flowers to Farrukh Khosru, Executive Editor of the New Nation.
The team expressed their appreciation for the newspaper’s commitment to truth and for its significant contribution to documenting the movement’s history.
“The New Nation has been instrumental in highlighting the voices of the student movement with integrity and fairness,” the Mastul Foundation representatives remarked.
The event was attended by several key figures, including Reza Mahmud, Chief Reporter of the New Nation; Moin Ahmed, Chief Photojournalist; Mafiya Sultana, Mastul Foundation Executive; Syeda Prianka, Senior Relationship Officer; Marina Jahan, RDM Executive; and Md Mushfiqur Rahman Alif, Programme Coordinator.
