Rain washes out Day 3 of 4-day match between BD ‘A’ and Pak ‘A’

The rain washed out the Day 3 game of the four-day cricket match between Bangladesh ‘A’ Cricket team and Pakistan ‘A’ Cricket team on Thursday at the Islamabad Cub in Islamabad, the capital city of Pakistan.

Earlier, Bangladesh ‘A’ Cricket team scored 122 in their first innings on the first day (Tuesday). Mahmudul Hasan Joy top-scored with 65 runs. Naseem Shah captured three wickets in the space of 24 runs, while Mir Hamza bagged two wickets at the cost of 41 runs. Mohammad Rameez, Umar Amin, Mohammad Ali took one wicket apiece.

In reply, Pakistan ‘A’ Cricket team piled up 367 for the loss of four wickets on the second day (Wednesday). Umar Amin notched up 177, Saud Shakeel hit 76, Mohammad Huraira made 39. Saad Khan remained unbeaten with 31, while Kamran Ghulam remained unbeaten with 20. Hasan Murad of Bangladesh bagged two wickets in the space of 49 runs. Tanzim Hasan and Nayeem Hasan took one wicket apiece.
Pakistan ‘A’ Cricket team have a 245-run lead.
