The postponed Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations will resume on September 11.
A notification signed by Professor Md Abul Bashar, the convener of the inter-education board examination control committee and controller of Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, was issued in this regard today.
The new schedule was published on the Dhaka Education Board website.
Earlier, the HSC and equivalent exams, which were initially postponed due to violence surrounding quota reform protests, had been rescheduled to resume on August 11.
Meanwhile, the HSC and equivalent exams began on June 30.
Earlier, The Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations scheduled to be resumed from 11 August have again been postponed on unavoidable grounds, the authorities said on Wednesday.
A media release, signed by Syed AZ Morshed Ali, deputy secretary of the Secondary and Higher Secondary Division under the Ministry of Education, confirmed this.
The release said the schedules for holding the postponed exams will be informed later.
Earlier on Tuesday, Chairman of Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board Prof Tapan Kumar Sarkar said it would be known today (Wednesday) when the exams could be resumed.
The Ministry of Education postponed the HSC and equivalent exams due to unrest in the country over the quota reform movement which later turned violent.
