Sylhet Bureau :
The general students formed a human chain demanding four points demand including the resignation of Sylhet Agricultural University (SAU) Vice-Chancellor Dr. Md. Jamal Uddin Bhuiyan.
They gave an ultimatum of 24 hours to comply with the demand. The human chain was held on Wednesday (August 14) at 10 am on the main road of the university.
The students said that we have given 72-hour ultimatum to the four-point demand before, but the authorities did not consider it necessary to accept them. So we went down to the human chain.
They also say, if the demand is not accepted within 24 hours, if there is anarchy in the campus then the general students will not be responsible.
In this regard, several attempts were made to contact the vice-chancellor Dr. Jamal Uddin Bhuya by phone but he was not available.
