8 Shibalaya shops gutted

About eight small and big shops were destroyed in the fire set by a terrorist yesterday dawn at KDC Mor in Teota Basset village of ShibalayaUpazila. Locals said that people came forward after seeing the flames. ‘

Fire service and local people tried to douse the fire but most of the goods got burnt. An estimated loss of half a croretaka has been achieved.

According to the shop owners, there were various types of shops like Sentu, Rahman, Malek, MangalSheel, Al Amin, Pintu, Razzak and Safi in this market owned by local sorhab.
