BNP Standing Committee member Dr Abdul Moyeen Khan has warned of a potential conspiracy surrounding the National Mourning Day on August 15, asserting that “awakened students will confront any such plot.”

Dr Moin said: “The interim government has been formed through the choice of the students and the people. As a result, they will fulfil their responsibilities properly. Students have demonstrated that no dictatorial government can maintain power through repression. Their victory will be etched in golden letters in the annals of world history.”

At the same time, BNP’s Health Affairs Secretary Dr Rafiqul Islam said that 769 people were admitted to DMCH in critical condition during the recent protests. Currently, 190 patients remain hospitalized, with more injured individuals still arriving from outside Dhaka.
