A few days ago, it was reported in the media that political activists, organisers and various professionals who were missing by armed forces were locked up in a room at DGFI’s (Directorate General of Forces Intelligence) headquarters. Complaints have been heard of the people being detained and tortured in that room known as ‘Aynaghor’.
After the resignation of the Sheikh Hasina government on August 5, ‘Ayanaghor’ came into discussion. Many of the missing people were released and returned to their families.
This time the story of this ‘Aynaghor’ is coming to the screen of celluloid. Joy Sarkar will make a movie titled ‘Aynaghor’.
Last Saturday, director Joy Sarkar registered his name with the Bangladesh Film Directors’ Association for the production of the movie.
He said that he wants to start shooting the movie coming November.
Although the names of the other actors of the movie are not known, the director’s choice for the heroine is Keya Payel, a regular and familiar face of the small screen.
Joy Sarkar told this correspondent in this regard, “The heroine of my first movie ‘Indubala’ was Keya Payel. I want to make this movie with her. Also more star performers will be seen in this movie.”
However, director Joy Sarkar did not talk to this actress about the movie.
He said, “There was no talk with Keya Payel about my new movie. I am now busy with the screenplay of the movie. I want to arrange the story by talking to some of the people of ‘Aynaghor’. I want the truth to come out. Soon, I will sit in discussion with actress Keya Payel to take her schedule.”
When contacted about this, actress Keya Payel told this correspondent, “At the moment, I have no plans to act in any movie. I also heard the news of the movie from some people. But neither the director nor the producer discussed this matter with me. I am busy with drama now. I have already given schedules to the directors of the next few months. I am scheduled to go out of the country to shoot the dramas in a few days.”
“Next month I will go to the United States to shoot three dramas. Osman Miraz will direct all these dramas where my co-artiste will be Farhan Ahmed Jovan. After returning to the country, I have given to schedules to shoot some more dramas,” Keya Payel also said.
Keya Payel’s reply to the question whether she would act if she likes the story and screenplay of the movie ‘Aynaghor’, “I don’t have any plans with movies at the moment. I am having a good time on the small screen.”
It is noted that Keya Payel made her debut on the big screen with the movie ‘Indubala’ directed by Joy Sarkar. Anisur Rahman Milon was opposite her in that movie. The movie was released in 2019.
Keya Payel was not seen in any movie after that. After that she settled into small screen acting.
