Western Railway resumes running of train

A total of 34 trains, including all mail, local and commuter have started running on the largest Pakshi section of the Western Railway from Tuesday (August 13). Earlier on Monday (August 12), cargo and oil trains started running. On this day, 10 freight and oil trains run to different destinations. Intercity train services will start from tomorrow Thursday (August 15). The sale of inter-city tickets has started from 5 pm on Monday (August 12). Railway Pakshi Divisional Manager (DRM) Shah Sufi Noor Mohammad confirmed the train movement.
Pakshi Divisional Railway Dispatching Officer (DTO) Anwar Hossain said that freight and oil trains are running from today as per government guidelines. A meeting was held at Pakshi Divisional Office on Monday. According to the decision of the meeting, a total of 34 trains are running under the Pakshi division from today Tuesday. This includes mail, local and commuter trains.
Pakshi Divisional Assistant Commercial Officer AKM Nurul Alam said that after getting the direction of train movement under Pakshi Railway Division, the necessary measures have already been taken by the Pakshi Divisional Commercial Branch.
Pakshi Divisional Manager (DRM) Shah Sufi Noor Mohammad said that freight and oil trains have been running since Monday, August 12. All mail, express, local, commuter trains of the department have started from Tuesday. He said that the intercity train will run from August 15.
